In July 2021, as the COVID-19 pandemic continued into its second year, Grandmaster JinBodhi showed his respect and support for medical workers on the frontlines of the pandemic by holding a fundraising campaign. Grandmaster JinBodhi painted “Auspiciousness of Five Blessings” during a live broadcast. Grandmaster then donated all the funds raised through the sale painting, as well as a personal donation, for a total of $400,000 CDN to the Richmond Hospital Foundation in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada.

These donations will be used toward Richmond Hospital’s psychiatric emergency unit, which will begin operating in November this year. The new unit has a peaceful environment which will help patients receive better treatment and achieve faster recovery.

These donations will also be used towards the development of a new nine-floor acute care tower, including new equipment, more patient beds and operating rooms. With this addition, Richmond Hospital can serve and care for more patients in the future.

Grandmaster JinBodhi is happy to know that these funds will benefit the general population.

Hand-in-hand, let’s move forward with sincerity and compassionate love.

May everyone be free of illness and embrace a healthy and beautiful life.
