A sharing from Lillian who suffered from chronic insomnia for over 30 years.
I had chronic insomnia for 30 years. Every night, I wouldn’t fall asleep until 4 or 5 am and if I woke up, I couldn’t get back to sleep. On average, I only got 2 – 3 hours of sleep. I was always tired and out of sorts. I was constantly dizzy and sleepy. It was as if I was coping with jet lag every day.
Since attending a Bodhi Meditation Health & Happiness Retreat, my quality of sleep improved tremendously. As I continue to meditate regularly, my health and immune function are improving too.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I’ve attended all of Grandmaster JinBodhi’s free online classes and live streams.
A few classes started at 3 am and I was able to get up for these classes without setting the alarm. During the early morning classes, I was fully awake and clear-minded. During the day, I was energized. At night, I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow and slept soundly until the early morning class.
I am grateful for Grandmaster JinBodhi’s methods and teachings. Not only did they heal my chronic insomnia of 30 years, but they also gave me much better physical and mental health than my peers.
