More than 300 guests, many of them friends and family of Bodhi students, celebrated our 2nd Annual Appreciation Evening on Sunday, March 26, 2017.

The meditation hall became festive and guests entered into the candle-lit room to the music provided by DJ Garreth Coughlan. The emcee for the evening, comedian Damonde Tschritter, welcomed everyone.

Everyone enjoyed the multi-cultural buffet with Chinese, Greek, Persian, Mexican, and Indian cuisine.

Gift draws and entertainment followed dinner.  Garreth played a Bodhi piece of music he and Vaughn Swenson created for the evening. Sylvia Park on flute and her son Terry Kim on piano, Bettina Van Wyck sang a song to Buddha, The Silver Diamond Country Dancers performed and invited guests to join them for the electric slide. Damonde had us laughing.

The performers also shared how Bodhi Meditation has affected their lives.

The evening concluded with an energy blessing – a new experience for many.

We successfully paid tribute and showed gratitude and appreciation to family and friends, volunteers, and Grandmaster JinBodhi.

Bodhi Meditation is built upon compassion, commitment, gratitude, and love. We value and cherish the friendships we make and the gift of meditation that has changed so many lives.
