Bodhi Meditation is regarded by some as the biggest gift they’ve ever been given. It’s changed their lives. Many people seek solutions for their pain and afflictions, and can spend their life looking for relief. Anxiety can set in and overwhelm the mind with fear. Medication might help but it doesn’t get to the root of the problem. Bodhi Meditation has helped millions of people around the world break free from pain, stress, anxiety and afflictions.  If you want to live a life of peace and happiness, a Bodhi Meditation retreat can help you achieve the life you were meant to live.

From December 2019’s 8.5-Day Health & Happiness Retreat, four women share some of their experiences of meditation.

Fernanda: There are no words to truly explain how Bodhi Meditation has changed me. I arrived in Vancouver from Mexico, following my heart’s guidance, when I saw Grandmaster JinBodhi’s photo at the downtown Skytrain Station. Noting the center was in Richmond, where I was staying, it did not occur to me how close the Bodhi Meditation Center was until I walked right by it! Upon walking inside I felt a strong connection, and learned about this retreat. My heart felt like a bird that sings with joy. My experience at the 8.5-Day Health and Happiness Retreat was amazing, connecting with my soul. I felt that inside, my soul was chanting. I’m amazed that I can speak without preparation in front of so many people, and am eternally grateful to Master JinBodhi for leading me to Canada to experience Bodhi Meditation.

Brenda

Brenda:  This retreat has been very special, full of gifts. I have a new relationship with my body and mind, I’m feeling more calm and focused. The greatest gift was having my mother attend the 8.5-Day Health and Happiness retreat with me.

Mary's 8.5-Day Meditation Retreat Sharing
Mary

Mary: I attended this retreat on faith, without any expectations based on conversations with my daughter. During this retreat, my severe hip pain lessened, allowing me to roll over in my bed pain free. I feel healthier, happy and thankful. Sharing this retreat with my daughter Brenda has strengthened our relationship, and inspired me to continue practicing meditation.

Elaine's 8.5-Day Meditation Retreat Sharing
Elaine

Elaine: I knew that meditation was good for me, but I did not understand the real value of practice until coming to Bodhi. My perspective has changed from being self-focused to being a more compassionate, giving person. I did not understand that by giving, we actually receive more in our life. For the first time in my life I feel truly happy, giving away food, money and volunteering my time at the center, contributing in a way that was not possible before. Being at Bodhi, I understand the true meaning of happiness.
