The Bodhi Meditation Centre, bathed in red and gold, welcomed Chinese New Year – the Year of the Monkey – with much celebration, laughter and reverence.
After the welcoming and the Lion Dance, each department contributed to the festivities with song, dance and even some humor.
The English Department participated by donning saris for Bhangra dancing.
The festivities continued until the early morning, with chanting and oracle reading.
It was an auspicious night for all.
