Bathing the Buddha Festival celebrates Sakyamuni Buddha’s birthday. It has been the most significant celebration of all Buddhist traditions for over 2,000 years.
This auspicious day gives us an opportunity to pay our respects and commemorate his impact on all of humanity. His teachings today are as relevant and true as they were 2,600 years ago. His compassion has spanned not only over time but throughout the world.
The Bathing the Buddha Festival lets us once again rejoice in Buddha’s love and compassion.
Let’s celebrate this auspicious day, make offerings, accumulate merits and virtues, and cleanse our body, mind and soul.

Online Celebrations with Grandmaster JinBodhi
Grandmaster JinBodhi will lead global Bodhi Meditation practitioners and friends to celebrate the Bathing the Buddha Festival with two online events:
1. Bathing the Buddha Blessing Ceremony
Sat. May 7, 2022, at 6 pm
2. Peace, Wisdom & Longevity Chanting Class
Sat, May 7 – Sat, May 14, 2022, at 6 pm daily
The blessing ceremony is also the first day of the online chanting class.
