A House of Divine Peace

By Tia

My name is Tia and I am in grade six and eleven years old and today I am telling you about my experience with Bodhi Meditation. I first came to the Bodhi Meditation Centre in Richmond sometime in 2009 after having moved here in 2008. I was four years old and I was feeling pleasant inside because of the behaviour of the people. The students, volunteers, and the disciples of Grandmaster JinBodhi and everyone else were all happy and they smiled and laughed. That created a positive and pleasant feeling inside me.

The first thing I like about Bodhi Meditation is that the people are so happy and joyful. That creates positive energy inside the centre. When I enter the centre I feel like I have entered the house of divine happiness and peace.

The second thing I like about Bodhi Meditation is that when I complete a meditation at a retreat or a class, my body feels very relaxed because of the energy here. I also feel cleansed and peaceful inside my body and mind. I even feel like I’m connected to a divine light that shines through my heart and body. And I get healings in some meditations.

The third thing I like about Bodhi is how they make things, like the bracelets and necklaces made of blessed crystals and beads. They are blessed and filled with healing energy and power. They also make breakfast, lunch and dinner every day with love and care and such happiness. The people here also do things with happiness and peace and I’ve never seen anyone frown or be sad.

On September 25, 2017, at one day of the 8.5-Day Health & Happiness Retreat, I had a miracle happen to me! When I did The Meditation of Greater Illumination twice I felt pain in my left eye. My mom later tested my eye and found that it had healed. I was born with strabismus and my eyes didn’t work together. But as I just said, my eye was healed and I am so happy.

I hope many are healed at Bodhi Meditation Centres worldwide.
